Kathryn Thole - Owner/Instructor

|Pilates, Privates + Semi Privates|

Going through college as an athlete and graduating with a B.S. in Kinesiology + Exercise Science, I always knew I wanted to work with bodies in some form. While being a student of Pilates for 10 years, it was obvious to me that diving into The Pilates Center’s Advanced Comprehensive training program was what my next step would be. I am certified in their 980hr Advanced certification. I am a certified Host Advisor for their Training Program. I am certified Pre/Postnatal through Goodday Pilates. We are always continuing our education through workshops and certifications. I opened Simple Form Pilates in 2018 with the drive to deliver a place where all people felt supported in moving their bodies in a way that will carry them on into whatever their path has in store. I believe that this method of movement, when carried out in its most authentic version, can bring anyone into a true state of health and happiness.


Suzanne Poe

|Pilates Equipment, Pilates Mat, Private + Semi Private Sessions| Suzanne is a Classical Pilates instructor having earned a comprehensive certification through an 18 month, 600 hour plus course at Everybody Pilates, Southsea England. She continues lessons with mentor and teacher Amy Kellow, owner of Everybody Pilates. Amy trained with teacher Jay Grimmes who worked directly under Joseph Pilates. She currently teaches all levels (beginning through advanced) on a variety of equipment (mat, reformer, Cadillac, Wunda chair, etc. ) at both Simple Form Pilates studios in Owego and Binghamton and offers studio space for mat classes at Cloudcroft Studios. After ten years of personal practice that changed her life after a series of serious injuries, sharing the teachings of classical pilates became clear. The breath, along with the mind body connection make this work beneficial for everyone at any level and at any age. Suzanne always feels motivated by the whole body work that continues to deepen and serve her and her clients

Julia Hartman

|FitCore, Pilates Equipment, Barre|

Julia is a comprehensively certified Peak Pilates Instructor.  She is also a certified BarreAmped instructor. Recently, she became a FitCore Master Instructor in Mat, Chair and Reformer. She is excited to share her passion for pilates. Everyone should experience the positive lifestyle changes she has experienced since beginning Pilates and barre. "In ten sessions you will feel the difference, in twenty you will see the difference, and in thirty you'll have a whole new body." - Joseph Pilates.


Carolyn Schafenberg

Carolyn has had a long-standing interest in how the human body works. She is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, and completed the 600-hour intermediate plus program through The Pilates Center. 

Carolyn teaches individual lessons and group classes at both Simple Form Pilates locations (Binghamton and Owego). She is classically trained in mat work as well as all Pilates equipment, and loves working with clients to help explore the mind-body connection. Carolyn is especially pleased to work in a space that affirms and welcomes all bodies, abilities, and ages, while building strength and confidence in Pilates practice.

Elizabeth Cauchois

With over 15 years of experience practicing Pilates alongside a successful stage career with Cirque du Soleil, I have witnessed firsthand how the method has enriched my physical health and performance. The principles of Pilates have been invaluable in maintaining the delicate balance of strength, flexibility, and injury prevention, allowing me to thrive in demanding, high-performance environments.

As a certified personal trainer specializing in women’s health, nutrition, and performance enhancement, I have always been passionate about integrating this familiar thread of Pilates to improve overall well-being. This led me to focus on classical Pilates, ultimately completing a comprehensive mat certification through Simple Form Pilates with Everybody Pilates in the UK. The fusion of Pilates with my extensive background in performance and training has deepened my understanding of how mindful movement can elevate both physical and mental health.

Amanda Gaiter

Amanda is currently going through the Comprehensive Teacher Training program at Everybody Pilates with Amy Kellow.

Several years ago I came into Pilates with a quest to deepen my connection with my body, specifically my core. I was living with a mild hip injury and kept irritating it by moving through life disconnected from my center. Since committing to regular Pilates practice I have fundamentally changed how I move through all parts of my life, from gardening to chasing around my little one, and everything between.
My choice to teach Pilates grew from practicing throughout my prenatal and postpartum journeys. Over the last year and a half I have experienced countless changes in my body, and having Pilates as my constant has empowered me through each shift. I choose to teach Pilates with the intention of supporting others to feel strong through all seasons of life.
